Also, instead of dodging the question... he would do something like that in the IPL? A simple yes or no would do.

Talk di truth - dat was an atrocious mistake last night. I don’t like cricketers taking on umpires when we have reviews but the person who started this thread is way too selective about when to condemn what.

His attitude after the first call was real bad...it's a bad call, you get a review, dats all. All the rest of the bad calls in other games get reviewed without the batter throwing a hissy fit.

I did not watch the game last night. So all I know is what I have read on this thread. And you always seem like a levelheaded and fair fella. What, if any, sanction do you think would be appropriate under the circumstances?

BTW, I'm not asking what you think the CPL will do because the CPL will say the apology is enough and move on. The only way the issue goes any further is if the Umpire's Association makes a big stink and demands more than the apology.

I have seen worst mistakes by Umpires and not seen a batsman get a hissy fit like that, although he has the option of a review!

Agree, but suspend, nah. Fine, yes. Of note, he did go over to the umps after the heat of the battle and had a conversation. Knowing the lad, I fathom a guess he apologised.

CPL don't have the balls to suspend him anyways, but he most definitely should be fined.

Don't beat up. SLK going straight finals so good luck with that behaviour vs Chicken Curry.
