Sammy has earned himself an extended run.

We came within 4 balls of a WC semi-final. The team has great chemistry and with one or two changes we could rise to top ranking and win the next WC. Sammy has made all the right rotations this WC to get us to 5-2 our best performance in 10 years. Need to find more wicket-taking options.

Next step is qualification for the ODI WC and getting the Test team some wins to rise up the WTC. Will Sammy rope in Hetmeyer for ODIS and Tests? That would be another big move by the Samster!

@voiceofreason

Get Sammy the spoon outa dere...he got no brain.

The game needs persons who can analyze and recat to changing circumstances.

Sammy has been comdemned by me because of his approach to the powerplay today and lack of understanding of our needs during his stint as coach.

The team was 4 balls away from a semi-final berth. I consider that an overwhelming success.

Believe what you may. Sammy is here to stay.

@voiceofreason

First thing on the agenda strip him of the the Test and ODI coaching job.

My my words, His contract ends this month and he will not retain these two jobs, CWI needs to be forward looking not stuck with an analog coach.

@Courtesy

His term will be extended. We are not changing course in the middle of WC qualification and a WTC.

The man has singlehandedly convinced players to come back to play Test and if it is true Hety will soon join the ODI and Test teams even better.

Tough luck Bro.

Sammy can remain as the Coach for the T20's.

He has no business being the head Coach for Test cricket.

@Trex

You again?

If Sammy manages to get Hetmeyer in the test team that will be a game-changer.

@voiceofreason

Hettie would win that match for us had he not been tiffed out

@Poggy

Agreed. Yet nobody is focusing on that but instead trying to attack the Coach, Captain. Also Matt Hayden's comments were racist, but little mention of that. West Indians are forever doomed as we continue to fight among each other, while the others laugh and plunder.

Sammy was guaranteed an extended run regardless of the team's performance in this T20 World ( the not insignificant matter of holding the right color passport!)

That said, he should be commended for the team's performance, which defied all pre-tournament expectation.

@voiceofreason

If Sammy gets us some wins (test) that should not change. Corrected it for you.

After a long time I saw a formidable West Indian team and if Sammy is the architect of this, he has done a great job.

What teams did this "formidable West Indian team" beat

Jacksprat is that you? There's hope after all. If only the others would come around and admit that the team overachieved.
