What Group Of Death?
Based on ranking, seems pretty even to me with maybe WI in the slightly “easier” group of the 2.
Group A
England # 2
NZ # 4
PAK # 6
SL # 8
Group B
India #1
SA #5
WI # 7
Zim # 11
There is no “Group of Death” in this tournament.

so what's ur interpretation of a group of death, a group of teams ranked 1-4??....in the qualifying group stage the group that included SA,NZ an Afg was undoubtedly the toughest an could be labeled "the group of death" so much so that SA ranked 5 needed 2 super overs to beat Afg ranked 10....now in super8's although Hengland's group collectively have higher rankings it doesn't necessarily follow that is the toughest group....but Windies group on paper looks tougher even with Zim who let's not forget beat Aus & Sri Lanka at the group stage...so could be labeled the group of death...but it's all subjective!

nah....they barely got past nepal, got a scare from Scotland and were lucky to encounter similarly misfiring teams in sl and pakistan. sl chased 180 plus versus the aussies at the same pallekele ground where they were bowled out for 95 chasing 142....so yes sl is a misfiring team.
