Man pivoting to nostalgia as WI make the Super 8. A convenient distraction. If WI had failed to make the Super 8 he would have been all over the board with his Donkey diatribes.

He will probably jump off a cliff should they make the Semis.

Great wonderful glorious timeless Test Match cricket there Bro.

That Greenidge knock was something else and made more extraordinary now in hindsight when you realize he was using paper thin bats unlike the modern behemoths that players regularly now mis-time and top edge for six.

This was over 40 years ago other than nostalgia what does this have to do with modern day cricket???

Your generation did absolutely nothing to preserve this dominant era other than cussing about every single thing and hence no real knowledge was passed down to the next generation!!!

Iโ€™m sorry but other than a decent technique youโ€™re telling me a bunch of men with the physique of Kraigg Brathwaite with no scientific advancement and data the sport has today would compete with someone like Chris Gayle, Andre Russell and shit if Pouty solely played Test Cricket Iโ€™m positive he would probably kill some of those guys!!!

@WIfan26

Calm down buttercup.

Lickit cowlashers like Pouty and Russell wouldn't have lasted one over on seaming swinging 80s pitch in England. Pouty would have probably died facing Lillie and Thompson.

So youโ€™re telling me a bunch of skinny drunk white men from the 80โ€™s would be better than Starc or Cummins???

I still think the peak of cricket was the 90โ€™s Lara & Shiv, Ambrose & Walsh etc but like I said those crotchety old farts before never passed down any knowledge or guidance and allowed insularity to take over and here WI are basically an Associate team today!!!

@WIfan26

When did Russell and Pullfraud face Starc and Cummins in Test Match cricket?

If you really believe those flat track bits and pieces lickit cow lashers could survive one over of swing or seam in England, or pace in Oz on those pitches in the 70s and 80s I have some Dotard bitcoins I'd like to sell you. ๏ปฟ๐Ÿ˜†๏ปฟ

Yea I wonโ€™t disagree with that but I feel in an alternate universe with their skill set and if they only played Test Cricket I think they wouldโ€™ve still been decent!!!

@WIfan26

Bro...bottom line is class act test batsmen like a Root,Williamson,Kohli an Smith skills are more transferable to t20,s than t20's cowboys would be to test cricket because for the most part the cowboys have little or no technique an could not survive the severe examination that is test cricket at least not for long...in t20's good hand/ eye coordination an a good bat an yuh good to go!!

The Neanderthals' at CWI did not give Polly an opportunity to play test Cricket.So commenting about Polly is moot.

Richie Benaud's comment : If Pollard was Australian he would be playing Test Cricket.

It's worth thinking about...๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๐Ÿ˜Ž๏ปฟ๏ปฟ
