The slower Hope bats, it means that the others have to bat much faster.They have to take more risks and thus more prone to fail

Now I watched last night's innings and I was disappointed at the strike rate;
however, I did not se him blocking bad balls.

That wicket was not built for fast scoring.
Everyone who tried to score fast failed.

Hope is batting in a terrible team this year.
A few glance of good innings by a few other batsmen.

Last night specifically:
Sampson went after a wide ball: stupid.
Hetty was Hetty: idiot.
Moeen should be in his last season.
McDermott started slow and then got out trying to push it.
Brooks should not even be there.
Khan is a joker.

Only 2 batsmen all game struck over 150 strike rate:
those were Pierre and Mills in a losing cause.

In the end, Hope's innings kept Mudland together and won the game.

It is easy to pick on a batsman for 1 game,
but Hope is the best batsman on Mudland team, bar none.
Actually the best in the entire CPL, I would argue.

Hope is not the problem....the batters know how the pitch is playing, so sometimes you need to buckle down and get a decent score and give your bowlers a chance.

Call a spade a spade, Hety is a cow hitting, a piece and bit player. They were about 5 players on the u19 2016 that were better than Hety. Paul, Springer , Carty, Holder and Joseph .
