homes...the same season we got cleaned up for 47 is the same season we won the champions trophy. clearly we are not capabe of doing anything like that now

Why do we give so much responsibility to someone who was never a Test Great?

For sure he should not be the Head Coach of the test team.

Well, most great coaches weren't great at the sport they did, most were role players. We can argue if he fits the mould.

Merely stating what I heard about why Coley was replaced by Sammy. Persons stated that they preferred a Coach who had experience playing at the highest level.

So apparently Sammy's cricketing experience as a player has influenced his rise to the Head Coach for all formats of West Indies Cricket.


In my opinion his experience at the highest level was mediocre....esp in Test Cricket.

I agree with your statement 100%, however we have to acknowledge that he was captain of the team that won 2 WC

I can see no other reason, should have been first on the team sheet against Oz as he has been out best batsman against pace for quite a few years .
