Trump announces second deadly U.S. strike on alleged Venezuelan drug boat

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump says the U.S. military again targeted a boat allegedly carrying drugs from Venezuela, killing three aboard the vessel.

“The Strike occurred while these confirmed narcoterrorists from Venezuela were in International Waters transporting illegal narcotics (A DEADLY WEAPON POISONING AMERICANS!) headed to the U.S.,” Trump said in a Truth Social post announcing the strike. “These extremely violent drug trafficking cartels POSE A THREAT to U.S. National Security, Foreign Policy, and vital U.S. Interests.”

The strike that Trump says was carried out Monday came two weeks after another military strike on what the Trump administration says was a drug-carrying speedboat from Venezuela that killed 11.
The Trump administration justified the earlier strike as a necessary escalation to stem the flow of drugs into the United States.

The US military killed three people in another deadly strike on a vessel in international waters around South America allegedly “transporting illegal narcotics” from Venezuela, President Donald Trump said in a Truth Social post on Monday.

“This morning, on my Orders, US Military Forces conducted a SECOND Kinetic Strike against positively identified, extraordinarily violent drug trafficking cartels and narcoterrorists in the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility. The Strike occurred while these confirmed narcoterrorists from Venezuela were in International Waters transporting illegal narcotics (A DEADLY WEAPON POISONING AMERICANS!) headed to the US,” Trump said.

“These extremely violent drug trafficking cartels POSE A THREAT to U.S. National Security, Foreign Policy, and vital US Interests,” he added. “The Strike resulted in 3 male terrorists killed in action. No US Forces were harmed in this Strike.”

Well, it could be that the administration is committing crimes, the first boat they bombed two weeks ago, according to creditable reports, had turned around and was heading back to Venezuela. They were originally heading to Trinidad where many Venezuelans have migrated to. It is unusual for drug boats to be carrying so many people like that boat was carrying. It seems the present administration might be trying to bait the Venezuelans into a confrontation.

That powerful boat was coming from 68 miles away from the state of Sucre a state known for drug Cartels.There was a recent massacre between two Cartels when 70 gang members were killed.They, (the boat) were asked to stop 3 times but refused hence US actions.Many people in that state spoke, and mentioned that these Cartels do ask unemployed young men to go with them for a small payment.
