Champions League football, 2025-26

The season started with the UEFA Super Cup yesterday, between the winners of the Champions League (PSG) and the winners of the Europa League (Tottenham).

Spurs were leading 2-0 against an out-of-sorts Paris with 10 minutes to go. Then, in true Tottenham fashion, they went into their defensive shell, and a revitalised Paris St-Germain scored twice to make it 2-2, and went on to win 4-3 on penalties, as Spurs choked....
