Mujeeb gone for international duties....

I thought the Afghans were with us for the duration of the CPL.

I considered picking Mujeeb, but decided not to take the chance when I realized that the Asia Cup conflicted with the CPL. I also wanted to pick Tim David, but thought he would miss more than one CPL game because he was playing T20s for Australia when the CPL started. That David omission may come back to bite me in the rear end But it's always risky picking non-retired international players. I took a chance picking Philips and Seifert because New Zealand does not have any cricket conflicting with the CPL.

Exact same considerations Walco outlined...we have been burned too often with foreign players...sometimes even retired ones...don't trust retired ones from Pakland and Afganland eg Nabi, Imad and Mohammad Amir

The washout games are creating havoc now and we are not in Mudland yet

The question is why are franchises signing players who they know will leave after a couple of matches?

Wouldn't these guys (assuming they are that good) be most needed at the back end when pushing for home and know exactly what is needed

You advertise intentional names in order to get a bigger audience.

I thought i could have just slot in Mohammad Rizwan who replaced Fazalhaq Farooqi on Patriots. Rules committee says, not so fast.

Oh, Well. This was my first shot at Fantasy league cricket. I will be better next time around. Valuable experienced gleaned.

I have been playing fantasy league football (NFL) for a few years. I even won the league in 2023-24. Looking forward to Sunday's draft.

The royals brought Mujeeb to play 1 match. Why? They went into Sunday's game which was rained out with 3 overseas players.

I suspect that Afghanistan gave him an NOC for the entire CPL. It does not make sense to give an NOC for one game or for the Royals to sign him for one game. Maybe Afghanistan picked him for the Asia Cup due to injury after initially not planning to pick him.
