Pity about the crowd. Hopefully, it'll be better on Saturday and Sunday. That said, the ticket prices seem a bit high.

This was a missed opportunity…the ministries of sports and tourism should have stepped in and subsidized the tickets or even negotiate free attendance for students to ensure that the stadium was packed….it wasn’t a good look on day one…this harkens back to the PGA Tour event at Tryall in the early 90s when the crowd was nonexistent….making it a failure…

They know nothing of promotion/selling but good at showing off.

The gleaner mention bleachers free , and does not limit it to students. This is a flop. The tickets are overpriced and there is no drawing power.

I hope they'll drop the prices for next season. In the early days, you should aim to pull in the crowds first and foremost.

Overall it was a very enjoyable 3 days even though the crowd support was lacking….this is just a start …hopefully it continues to build momentum…

Great concept by Michael Johnson. Biggest story of the meet is Gabby Thomas’ 49.1 and beating Paulinho in the process. I s as m predicting that Nigerian turned “Gulf-Arab” runner will test positive for sup’n by World’s in September
